Lactation Specialist
Traveling program of 1-2 days basic breastfeeding education. This program meets step 2 requirements for Baby Friendly education.
Min. 3 hours observation clinical area needed to meet Baby Friendly requirement. Out-of-class homework or clinical time not required.

Lactation Consultant Training - Fee: $1595 + $35 certificate fee
Upon successful completion of the UCSD Extension Lactation Consultant Training, students will need to meet the requirements for the IBLCE exam. Click here for info on calculating hours necessary for the IBLCE exam. There is an additional fee for this certification test.
